CAHPS Hospice FAQ
Can our Agency still participate if we have low volume?
Yes! We are happy to take on clients of all shapes and sizes. As a small company ourselves, we admire the agencies which are otherwise exempt from CAHPS Hospice but choose to do so for the betterment of their patient care. We also have solutions for agencies with low response rates on top of their already low volume. Ask us about it today!
Will I be charged for each additional call you have to make?
We will never charge extra if it takes more than one attempt to reach a patient. In fact, CMS allows us to call each patient up to 5 times! However, there are certain instances where completed surveys above the agreed-upon yearly target may occur, resulting in a small fee. We do our best to curb this by working closely with clients to understand their needs and volume before a new project is started. You will never be charged for anything outside of what is written in your contract.
How do you manage patient privacy with your comments upgrade?
We take patient privacy very seriously at Arbor Associates. Understanding that patients may be in a very delicate state following treatment, we’ve taken extra care to implement safeguards within our systems to prevent any possibility of their privacy being compromised. The data submission process alone includes secure file transfer protocols, our own protected data portal, and encrypted email.
