TELEPHONE INTERVIEWER

Job Description

Following are the duties of the Telephone Interviewer:

  • Conduct telephone surveys with patients who have used health care facilities, hospitals, clinics, ambulatory surgery center, emergency departments, medical offices, etc. and caregivers of hospice patients who have passed away, to determine their level of satisfaction with the care and services received.
  • Conduct telephone surveys for various entities to gauge satisfaction with or perceptions of their local health care services.
  • Conduct surveys in an objective, unbiased manner.
  • Keep respondents focused on the experience and moving efficiently through the survey.
  • Accurately enter respondents’ answers and type respondents’ comments into a proprietary software application.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and protect highly confidential information.

 

Following are the skills for the Telephone Interviewer position:

  • Effective communication, including the ability to listen well.
  • Proficient time management.
  • Excellent English grammar, punctuation, and verbal reading skills.
  • Computer experience and keyboarding.
  • Comprehension of the survey format.
  • Work cooperatively with other staff members.

Following is the equipment the Telephone Interviewer must have to work remotely:

  • Reliable, uninterrupted internet connection.
  • Private area in the home, safely away from household traffic and noise.
  • Desk and chair.

JOB COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Arbor Associates, Inc. is a local firm specializing in consulting for the healthcare industry. Established in 1982, Arbor serves an extensive list of hospitals, medical offices, home care agencies, hospices, ambulatory surgery centers, and other healthcare providers throughout the United States. The basis of our work is the data that is accurately gathered by our Telephone Interviewers through healthcare telephone surveys. No sales involved.

Arbor staff members works remotely and are provided with a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and noise-cancelling headphones.

The full-time position includes the following benefits:

The part-time position includes the following benefits:

  • Paid sick time
  • Paid vacation time

The position starts at $14.00 per hour.

A premium rate of an additional $1.50 per hour is paid to interviewers who choose to work Friday evenings, Saturdays, or Sundays.

Applicants who are hired as bilingual (English/Spanish) interviewers are paid an additional $2.50 per hour.

Although this position requires working a combination of week days and evenings, Saturdays, and/or Sundays, a schedule is selected by the Telephone Interviewer to meet personal needs and then there is tremendous flexibility if changes are needed.
